Almost Down the Aisle
It’s been a journey but well worth the wait!
If you haven’t followed along from the
beginning, we have been side-by-side with Timeless Practice Manager, Elle Ruhl, as she gets ready for her wedding - happening in just a little over a month.
To start from the
very beginning, Elle and her fiancé, Ryne, first met on a dating app while they were both studying at The Ohio State University. Elle shares, "... we connected instantly over our love for golf, traveling and Taylor Swift!" They dated and it culminated with an epic engagement in Paris at the Eiffel Tower on Valentine’s Day of 2020... um, did someone say
romantic?
Fast forward to Fall of 2021 and Elle has undergone a whole year of treatments to make sure she looks and feels her bridal-best on her big day.
Let’s take a look back:
Part 1: Preparing for the Big Day (1 Year Out)
Plan a year in advance for big events in order to allow ample time to reach your skin and body contouring goals. Over the last year, Elle has used a combination of treatments to help meet her wedding goals:
- Surface skincare treatments to help with on-going acne and “maskne” issues
- COOLSCULPTING, alongside healthy eating and exercise, to help achieve her goals
- KYBELLA® to minimize her double-chin (as this area is hard to address even with dieting)
- FILLER to add fullness and shape to her lips, jawline and chin for the perfect profile
- And of course, maintaining her BOTOX for that smooth flawless look
Part 2: Creating the Perfect Profile + Jawline (6 Months Out)
At just half a year away from the big day, Elle continued with her on-going acne and maskne treatments, and has added skin resurfacing to help with her ever-growing outer glow.
To pair with this, she also began adding Filler to help further define her jawline and reduce the appearance of a double chin. One of our favorite things about JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA™ XC filler is that it requires no downtime and provides instant gratification. However, you may experience minor bruising and swelling for up to 2 weeks; so like Elle, schedule in advance for any important upcoming dates! Elle also used KYBELLA® to reduce the amount of submental fat tissue, which will permanently eliminate her double chin - yes, it’s that easy!
Part 3: Almost Down the Aisle (1 Month Out)
As she wraps up her treatment journey (and recuperates from her bachelorette party in Nashville), Elle will go on to do Botox treatments 4 to 5 weeks out, as well as touch up areas in her cheeks, chin or jawline with filler if needed. A week from the wedding, she will do both a Dermaplane to remove any fine facial hair, as well as a DiamondGlow to plump and hydrate her skin. Both of these treatments will leave her skin silky smooth allowing her bridal makeup to be applied flawlessly.
We are so excited to see Elle on her big day as the beautiful bride we know she will be!
