Among the many benefits of Secret RF™, one is that it is appropriate for virtually any skin type. Please note if you have received filler, neurotoxin, or have used Accutane within 1 month of treatment, you may need to delay treatment. As with any treatment, discussing your concerns and medical history with a medical provider will help determine the best treatment options for you.
Secret RF™ ‘s unique technology allows us to achieve optimal results with little to no downtime on all skin types. Immediately following the treatment you may experience temporary redness and sensitivity, a little swelling and/or minimal pinpoint bleeding or bruising. Redness usually clears within 12-48 hours, while sensitivity may last a little longer.
Once you obtain the results you are looking for, we recommend maintenance treatment every 6 to 12 months.
Patients typically need a series of 3-4 Secret RF™ treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. Most patients report seeing improvement after the second treatment but optimal results appear 3 months after the last treatment. As with all Timeless treatments, our medical providers will evaluate your current skin condition to recommend the best treatment plan for you.
An anesthetic will be prescribed and you will pick it up at your local pharmacy. About an hour prior to your Secret RF treatment, you will apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area.
During the Secret RF treatment you will feel some pressure on the treatment area. The micro-needling treatment is tolerable for most patients and our medical provider will work with you to maximize your comfort level.
Using the radio frequency equipped medical device, fitted with a sterile, disposable tip and a cluster of needles, your provider will treat the skin.
Following Secret RF™ treatment, the skin will be flushed in appearance. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the treated area. Any minor redness, or swelling from the treatment will subside within 12-24 hours. After treatment you can expect to return to normal activities.
Yes. If you are seen by an experienced professional who performs the treatment in a safe, precise manner with the use of a single-use sterile needle head, Secret RF™ treatment is very safe. This is, of course, the experience you will have at Timeless.
Our medical providers do everything possible to minimize discomfort. You will be prescribed a topical anesthetic to apply to the treatment area which will significantly reduce any pain you may experience, making the treatment quite comfortable. During the treatment, you will feel a slight heating and some pressure on the treatment area.
Treatment times generally range between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the area you are treating.
