Think of exosomes as tiny delivery trucks sent out by stem cells to give instructions to other cells nearby. They carry important cargo like RNA, proteins, and growth factors that cells require to grow and repair themselves. These little messengers are key for keeping cells, especially those in the skin, healthy and working well.
In aesthetic treatments, exosomes are used for their rejuvenating benefits. Packed with growth factors, vitamins, coenzymes, and amino acids, they work to kickstart your skin’s collagen and elastin production, resulting in improved skin texture, diminished fine lines and wrinkles, and an overall more youthful and radiant complexion.Their advanced regenerative properties make them a powerful tool in treatments aimed at revitalizing and renewing the skin.
What to expect
Exosomes are a skincare game-changer, especially when paired with treatments like microneedling, Secret RF, IPL, ResurFX, Sofwave, and chemical peels. Following these procedures, your skin may feel tender or inflamed as it begins the natural healing process. Exosomes help support skin recovery by delivering powerful regenerative and anti-inflammatory signals that calm irritation, promote healing, and enhance your treatment results.
Your experienced medical provider will apply exosomes directly to your skin immediately following your procedure as part of your treatment.
Treatment protocols vary slightly by location based on the exosome product used. At our Dublin and New Albany locations, your treatment includes a second take-home application to be applied 2–3 hours after your appointment, following the post-treatment instructions provided by our team. At our Kettering location, the in-office application provides the complete treatment protocol for the exosome product used.
