What is it about your skin you do not like? If you're young, you may wish your acne or acne scars would disappear. This morning, I started my "Nu-Derm" system for my official skin transformation. The "Nu-Derm" system consists of six products to be used in a specific order and time of day. Six does sound like a lot of products and steps - and some mornings it is - but it will be worth it. When glancing at the box itself, or even reading about it, it may seem overwhelming; however, once being educated on each product and why there are six steps, you will be as excited to start the process as I was.
First, the system will be selected for your own skin type (either normal/dry or normal/oily). In each set is a collection of products listed below:
1. Gentle Cleanser or Foaming Cleanser (AM & PM)
2. Toner (AM & PM)
3. Clear (AM & PM)
4. Exfoderm or Exfoderm Forte (AM)
5. Blender (& Tretinoin - sold separately) (PM)
6. Sunfader SPF 15 (or Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35) (AM)
(The difference between step 1 and step 4 is whether you need the normal/oily or normal/dry set.) Your initial step will start with a cleanser. Now unlike most cleansers, this will penetrate deep into the skin's innermost layer and kill underlying bacteria, leaving your skin honestly clean and free of impurities. Second, you must use the toner as it balances the pH levels of your skin to perfectly prepare it for steps 3-6. This toner also dramatically reverts your pores back to their original size! How wonderful!
Since there are several layers in our skin, there are several corresponding products to correct each layer. Thus, there is step 3, which contains an agent (hydroquinone) eliminating brown spots on the surface layer of the skin. Step 4 exfoliates all dead skin cells, allowing new skin cells to plump, thicken, and regenerate, resulting in a more youthful glow (Exfoderm Forte is used for normal/oily skin as it requires more intense exfoliation); and with this step you will be actuating new skin cells within 28 days, as well as eliminating discoloration in the middle layer of your skin. Step 5 has two functions. The Blender itself will also eliminate hyperpigmentation, but here it completes the step by evening tone for the innermost layer of your skin. Second, the Blender acts as a carrier for Tretinoin, forcing it into the dermis layer to tighten skin and improve elasticity. Be sure to read Stacy's testimony on the importance of Tretinoin cream. Lastly, is step 6, Sunfader SPF 15 (or Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35) which does a very important step in the skin rejuvenation process. In addition to protecting your skin from ultraviolet sun damage, it realigns the dermal cells in your skin for an even unveiling of new, beautiful, youthful skin.
