The Big Day in Columbus Approaches
For those of you who don't know, I'm getting married in January! Just last week, I finally said "Yes" to the dress.
I brought my mom and a few trusted friends with me to my appointment and, while it was great to share the experience with my friends, it was really special to have my mom there. It was my mom who had scheduled the appointment at this particular store, so when we got there I joked that we were finding
me a dress and not the mother of the bride! The wedding consultant keenly pointed out that a wedding is a family affair and the mother of the bride is a
huge part of the event in most cases. This got me thinking about what other areas of wedding preparation my mother and step-mother could partake in.
Moms Need Pampering, Too: Columbus Dermal Fillers and More
At Timeless, we offer procedures that are favorites for mothers of the brides. They can be done by themselves or together to achieve a refreshed look for your daughter's big day. A
- Peels: The Silk Peel and Chemical Peel are great to do together and we can customize the treatments for both mom and daughter. When done together, we offer special pricing: a great deal for pre-wedding rejuvenation! Plan It: These can be done up 2 weeks before your big day. However, our medical professionals may recommend a series of treatments to be started 4-6 months before your wedding.
- IPL or Genesis/IPL: These are done as needed or in a series based on your skin type and skincare concerns. They may be done separately or together. Both IPL and Laser Genesis can shrink pores and get rid of redness that threatens to peek through even professionally done makeup. Plan It: You'll want to start your series of treatments 4 to 5 months in advance. For a refresher, plan on scheduling your treatment up to 3 weeks before the event.
- Injectables: Botox/Dysport and Facial Filler are semi-permanent quick fixes for wrinkles caused by muscle movement or loss of volume. They can help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles that will seem more apparent in those post-wedding pics. Plan It: Typically, injectables can be done up to 3 weeks before your wedding.
